TRANSFERÊNCIA DE EMBRIÃO (TE) EM EQUINOS REVISÃO DE LITERATURA E RELATO DE CASO

Abstract

The transfer of embryos (TE) in horses is of paramount importance in the horse industry, since, with the use of this biotechnology, it is easier to expand the herd on the properties, increasing the number of progenies of animals that have high genetic value and commercial. In order to be successful with the use of TE, we have to take into account in this procedure the anatomical knowledge of the mares, together with the correct use of hormones to ensure the synchronization of the animals so that the technique is successful. This paper presents a literature review on the subject and results of a property in the south of Minas Gerais that uses TE in its reproductive management. The data obtained on the property were very satisfactory, remembering that the mares have a good management and the techniques were carried out in the best possible way.
