Abstract: We know that is not just about apparent physical degeneration ,but also the loss of cognitive&#xD;
and social skills that comes with the ageing of the body.The ageing of the world’s population&#xD;
is a reality and with it opens up opportunities for health professionals. Physical exercise in its&#xD;
entirety has many benefits for maintaining the health of people in old age .This article will&#xD;
carry out a literature review on the subject taking into account national and international scientific reference articles. The aim is to find evidence of the benefits of resistance exercise&#xD;
for the health of the elderly.

Abstract: This work presents a literature review on the benefits of performing physical activities&#xD;
barefoot, experienced in the sporting context. Through this narrative, we seek to investigate&#xD;
the benefits that are acquired when performing physical activities barefoot. The experience is&#xD;
theoretically based on Altman (2012), Azevedo (2013), Collier (2011), Lieberman (2012),&#xD;
Brandão (2018), Monteiro (2024), among others. It is believed that the results of this research&#xD;
can contribute to the debate and reflections on the benefits of performing physical activities&#xD;
barefoot.

Abstract: The present work presents a report of an experience lived in the context of "sports practice",&#xD;
during the period from 2022 to 2024, acting as a trainee coach. Through this narrative, it is&#xD;
sought to demonstrate the positive points of the practice of crossfit in the promotion of health&#xD;
and the negative points of this sport will be presented to enable a discussion about the&#xD;
challenges that students face during training. The experience is theoretically based on&#xD;
Vasconcelos; Rios; Xavier e Lopes; Tibana; Diegoli, among others. It is believed that the&#xD;
results of this report can contribute to the debate and reflections on the practice of CrossFit&#xD;
and its impact on sport.

    <summary type="text">Título: A PRÁTICA DA DANÇA DE SALÃO PELA POPULAÇÃO IDOSA

Abstract: This work addresses the theme "The practice of ballroom dancing by the elderly population", such an approach is justified in reflecting on the history of ballroom dancing, from its emergence to the present day, having as main axis the intention to demonstrate the several benefits for the body through ballroom dancing for the elderly population. The aim of this study was to analyze that dance is an important component for the promotion of people's well-being, and should be recognized as a highly beneficial activity for the body. Ballroom dancing also has a lot to contribute to the development of various skills and abilities, improving people's quality of life in many ways. Speed. strength, balance, agility. resistance, coordination. rhythm. flexibility, memorization and socialization are some of the aspects worked on. When exercising the body through ballroom dancing, the practitioner also develops his communicative potential, starting to express himself better. After carrying out this study, it can be stated that ballroom dancing as a regular physical activity can enable the person to a stage of healthy aging, minimizing and at the same time preventing the effects of age, improving mental capacity, physical function, providing health and welfare.
