The objective is to implement efficient inventory management, using MASP in conjunction with the Ishikawa Diagram and the 5W2H method. With this methodology, flaws in the recording of materials and the absence of control standards were identified. The proposed corrective actions aim to create a reliable system to optimize input availability, reduce costs and increase productivity. As a result, an improvement in the accuracy of records and process efficiency was observed. The methodology combined qualitative and quantitative approaches, utilizing document analysis, direct observation, and assessment of inventory and financial movements. The study highlights the importance of accuracy and agility in cost analysis, which are essential for identifying inefficiencies, strategically allocating resources, and responding quickly to market demands. The integration of an ERP system that connects sectors such as production, shipping, and finance provides a holistic view, crucial for reducing waste and improving profit margins. This approach is due to the fact of the intensification of competitiveness between automotive component companies and the increase in customer demands, since the redistribution of activities on the assembly line can contribute to increasing production efficiency and the level of quality in parts, seeking maintain customer satisfaction and ensure their loyalty. The objective of this work is to carry out a study on the impact of line balancing on efficiency indicators and quality problems in an automotive parts assembly line. This purpose will be achieved through a case study carried out in a plastic components industry located in Varginha, MG, based on direct observation of the process and production records, goals, failure history and indicators provided by the company. The study showed that after the completion of balancing, quality problems in the part reduced by 75%, there was a 2% increase in production efficiency, the variation in execution time of actions between workstations reduced and there was an improvement in employee motivation and engagement, with significant impacts that highlight the importance of line balancing and reinforces the need for continuous improvement of production processes. The research analyzes the implementation of a vision system with artificial intelligence integrated into an automotive components production cell, located in the city of Varginha, South of Minas Gerais, as a poka yoke method to detect failures in manual operational processes. The initiative came about following an alert from the automaker about product quality in search of process optimization and reduction of failure modes. The results indicate that automation can transform industrial practices, and the system can be expanded to other products, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable production environment.
