Abstract: Oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy frequently experience changes in
nutritional status and dietary patterns, influenced by both clinical characteristics and
sociodemographic factors. Such changes may compromise therapeutic response and
quality of life, making it essential to understand how these factors interact. The study
aimed to assess the presence of malnutrition using the PG-SGA, identify the prevalence
of nutritional alterations, and analyze the adequacy of protein intake and dietary patterns
of oncology patients according to the Dietary Guidelines for the Brazilian Population.
This was a cross-sectional observational study with 25 participants. Sociodemographic,
anthropometric, clinical, and dietary data were collected, in addition to the applicationof the PG-SGA and the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Analyses considered
comparisons between nutritional indicators and categories of malnutrition risk.
The results revealed a high prevalence of malnutrition across different
assessment methods. According to the PG-SGA, 56% were classified as having severe
malnutrition and 36% as having mild to moderate malnutrition, while only 8% were
well-nourished. BMI identified 40% of participants as underweight, with reduced mean
values for both sexes (female: 19.25 ± 3.26 kg/m²; male: 19.11 ± 3.39 kg/m²).
Additionally, arm circumference (25.84 ± 3.03 cm in women; 25.20 ± 2.82 cm in men)
and calf circumference (30.26 ± 2.84 cm and 29.72 ± 2.84 cm, respectively) also
indicated diminished body reserves.
In conclusion, malnutrition and nutritional risk are highly prevalent in the
oncology context, reinforcing the need for individualized nutritional interventions. The
findings highlight the importance of the nutritionist in continuous monitoring, ensuring
adequate protein intake, and promoting nutrition education focused on qualified food
choices that support improved prognosis and quality of life during treatment.

Abstract: This systematic review investigated the role of vitamin D and calcium in preventing fractures in frail elderly individuals. Using the PubMed and Google Scholar databases, the research included 7 randomized controlled clinical trials. The results showed that the effectiveness of vitamin D supplementation is dose-dependent, with medium doses (1600-3200 IU/day) being more effective in reducing falls in Caucasian women, while high doses (≥1000 IU/day) were associated with a higher risk of first fall with fracture. The combined intervention of exercise with vitamin D was superior to supplementation alone. The most significant finding was the nutritional optimization (calcium and protein) in institutionalized elderly individuals, which resulted in a 33% reduction in fractures overall and a 46% reduction in hip fractures. It is concluded that the prevention of falls and fractures should be multifactorial, prioritizing exercise and ensuring adequate intake of calcium and protein as the most determining factors.

Abstract: Considering the need to include people with disabilities in physical education classes,
research is being carried out on the analysis and guidance of physical education in a regular
school environment. To this end, it is necessary to review studies on inclusion and challenges
in regular schools, review research on the benefits of physical activities for people with
disabilities, and analyze studies on the positioning of adapted physical education teachers.
Because of this, it appears that few teachers include students with disabilities, teachers need
continued training, and inclusive physical education brings autonomy, prevention of
secondary illnesses, and stimulation of external coexistence, among others, which requires
the verification of that a greater effort is needed on the part of everyone involved to guarantee
quality of life for students with disabilities.

Abstract: This article reports on a practical experience within the context of elementary school
Physical Education in the initial years, carried out during the months XXX and YYY of
YEAR. The narrative aims to analyze the barriers and challenges faced in the process of
integrating playfulness into pedagogical activities in this discipline. The theoretical
foundation of the study relies on renowned authors in the field of Physical Education or
related areas addressing the role of playfulness in the educational context. Additionally,
strategies employed to effectively promote playfulness are discussed, and the obtained results
are presented and critically analyzed. It is believed that the insights and reflections provided
by this experiential account can enrich the discussion on the importance of playfulness in the
teaching and learning process of Physical Education in schools.
