      <title>A INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO COM SÍNDROME DE DOWN NO ENSINO REGULAR</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.unis.edu.br/handle/prefix/1350</link>
      <description>Título: A INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO COM SÍNDROME DE DOWN NO ENSINO REGULAR
Autor(es): Santos, Ana Paula Carvalho dos
Primeiro Orientador: Motta, Alfredo Carnevalli
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the inclusion of students with Down syndrome in regular&#xD;
education. Much has been said about Inclusive Education, and within this school&#xD;
modality, a subject that arouses the interest of analyzing and understanding the&#xD;
concepts is Down syndrome. Down syndrome is not a disease, but a genetic&#xD;
disorder, which does not prevent the person from developing. However, as this&#xD;
condition is associated with some health issues it must be observed at the birth and&#xD;
monitored by professionals. Therefore, each person has their own way of interacting,&#xD;
time, and evolution according to their needs. People with Down syndrome are more&#xD;
similar than different from us. The school is the ideal environment to build and diffuse&#xD;
knowledge, social responsibility and culture, what is missing are professionals and&#xD;
teaching materials. In this sense, the work aims to research the development of&#xD;
students with genetic alteration in school life. The Federal Constitution ensures that&#xD;
all citizens, without distinction of beliefs, color and race have the right to education,&#xD;
including people with disabilities, in this case, Down syndrome. Even so, it does not&#xD;
mean that the needs of everyone who is entering the schools are met. This may&#xD;
occur due to the lack of physical structure of the schools, without the proper&#xD;
accessibility and even lack of preparation of the teachers and a multidisciplinary team&#xD;
consisting of: Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists,&#xD;
Physiotherapists, Psychopedagogues and Speech Therapists, who can accompany&#xD;
students with Down syndrome so that they are included and that can guide&#xD;
educators. It is of great importance that people with Down syndrome are included in&#xD;
society, not only because of a legal guarantee, but because of humanity, because&#xD;
within their possibilities they are able to show affection, love, learn and interact with&#xD;
the people considered “normal”. It is also necessary to promote knowledge for&#xD;
families, and how they can deal with and end these prejudices against people with&#xD;
Down syndrome, regarding to them being unproductive and incapable beings.

Abstract: This article seeks to understand the paths of education and how the teacher through&#xD;
the act of teaching can significantly influence his students. For that, we will talk about&#xD;
pertinent periods in the history of education, its influences and teaching models. After&#xD;
we will talk about leadership in the classroom, analyzing ways to bring knowledge&#xD;
effectively to those who already have all kinds of information due to new technologies,&#xD;
we will also address the power of the leader, showing that the teacher has several&#xD;
ways to collaborate for the integral training of their students, as they are direct influencers of them, we will emphasize the question of character which is the key to&#xD;
the development of effective leadership, a teacher needs to know what he does, love&#xD;
what he does and be responsible for the place of power that occupies, knowing how&#xD;
to mix justice, honesty and respect. Another issue to be addressed is motivation, the&#xD;
world increasingly needs people prepared and effective in their actions, the educator&#xD;
who manages to captivate his students is giving them much more than simple didactic&#xD;
knowledge, but they are training people aware of their actions, autonomous and&#xD;
capable of being excellent not only in the classroom, but also in society, being firm in&#xD;
their choices and projects.

Abstract: The present article synthesizes the history of literature and its prominence in the&#xD;
formation of human beings. To understand the necessity throughout our lives, its&#xD;
precursors will be analysed, as well as their importance in early years. It enables the&#xD;
development of imagination, creativity and personality and , therefore, a person’s&#xD;
criticism through playful materials. The use of fairy tales and children stories, for&#xD;
example, is a way to further introduce literature among the infants’ world in a&#xD;
pleasant, simple and dynamic way. This introduction should not be mandatory but&#xD;
pleasant, accounting that how it is presented to the children is of the highest&#xD;
relevance, since the more attractive, dynamic and different, the more enjoyable it&#xD;
becomes for such reading public. Literature as such has an important role in the&#xD;
development of the student. Through it, one can learn how to communicate and&#xD;
dialogue with the world around. Reading produce knowledge and makes the pupil&#xD;
start rationalizing the read object, obtaining one’s own opinion about the social and&#xD;
cognitive questions one faces daily
