This approach is justified due to the critical nature of the maintenance processes for the companies that provide services to the production segment of Natural Gas - P&G. The objective of this analysis is to compare the methodology of maintenance of the assets of the company under study, with the techniques ascertained during the bibliographic review of the literature. This purpose will be achieved through the bibliographic survey on maintenance methodologies, a case study with a company that operates in the submarine robotic segment for the Brazilian oil and gas production industry, and finally, the comparison between the techniques adopted by the company and the data obtained during the bibliographic survey. The analysis showed that the company under study adopts classic methodologies in its maintenance system, being admitted a possible point of improvement through the introduction of new maintenance techniques, which are more appropriate to the P&G industry. Such an approach is due to the verification that Production Control and Planning alone are sufficient to have a positive result at the end of the period, so it is necessary to follow the production planning and control process in order to verify if the data collected in the costing process are being correct and satisfactory. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the production planning and control of this plant, based on the costs of this production, using Statement of Income for the Year (DRE) as an indicative thermometer. By means of a case study, to verify in situ the process of planning and production control of the Mantiqueira Group composting plant in March 2019, using real data to identify possible failures and suggest improvements in the production processes. It was made explicit that the planning and control of production alone does not provide positive results and will require interaction between sectors and implementation of new tools and methods that aims to collaborate to reduce costs and improve financial results. Such an approach is necessary, given the need to present a way to improve its processes, to reduce the waste of several magnitudes, it is only a matter of discipline and commitment of all employees, from production to top management, aiming at the success and stability of the company to maintain and achieve sustainable growth, the company must review its production process flows and reduce costs, making its product attractive and sustainable. The objective of this work is to improve the production process, the research proposal was based on the Lean methodology, which presents a new layout, marking the location of each object, a path to pedestrian and transport and reduction in transportation trajectories. A management that follows the concepts of lean production and applies the tools of this philosophy, profits from the fact of reducing expenses eliminating waste, contributing favorably to the perpetuation of the company in the global market. The work was a case study carried out in an animal nutrition company located in the city of Três Corações, which has one of the largest industrial parks dedicated to the production of pet food, with the commitment to offer high quality national products, company achieves daily the credibility and satisfaction of customers in the Brazilian and global market. It infers, therefore, that the efficiency of the Lean concept in its applications eliminated several wastes, such as the alienation of leased deposits, reduction of handling of forklifts. Such an approach is necessary due to the high employee turnover rates as well as the search for more productive processes. The purpose of this study is to verify the contribution of automation, if the returns are positive and help in the choice or not of these processes. This purpose will be achieved through the case study of a company that produces ultrafiltered cheeses, located in the south of Minas Gerais. The study showed that the automation of production processes is necessary in a line of ultrafiltered cheeses and that the automation of line tip has a high cost but depending on the locality, the cost of the labor of the region, can be worth for the company to invest.
