ANÁLISE DA VIABILIDADE LOCACIONAL E AMBIENTAL DO ATERRO SANITÁRIO DO MUNICÍPIO DE PERDÕES-MG

Abstract

This paper analyzes the location and environmental viability of the construction of the landfill in the municipality of Perdões-MG. The paper presents the reality of the disposal of urban solid waste in a small city, which is still a major challenge for Brazilian municipalities and the possibility of building a landfill that complies with current federal, state and municipal legislation. The theoretical assumptions were obtained through documentary research, using databases on government websites that provided relevant data about the municipality, making a parallel of the reality of this municipality with bibliographic research, using articles, theses, dissertations already published and based on discussion of the work. Through technical standards, resolutions, laws and guidelines can be discussed the management of solid waste in the municipality according to the established requirements. The work highlights the generation of municipal solid waste and its final destination.
