metadata.dc.description.resumo: Introdução: Os distúrbios musculoesqueléticos vêm crescendo nos trabalhadores no Brasil e em outros países, tanto desenvolvidos como em desenvolvimento, sendo considerado um preocupante problema de saúde. A posição sentada é a mais adotada nos ambientes de trabalho, entretanto, a manutenção dessa posição por tempo prolongado acarreta adoção de postura inapropriada, devido à sobrecarga na coluna durante horas, que pode causar lesões e dores. Destaca-se que a dor é o sintoma mais presente na prática dos profissionais que trabalham nessa posição. Objetivo: Identificar a prevalência de dores osteomusculares em colaboradores de escritórios de contabilidade na cidade de Varginha/MG. Participantes e Método: Foi realizado estudo transversal com 23 colaboradores de Escritórios de contabilidade, foi aplicado um questionário com perguntas objetivas, para verificar a intensidade de dor foi utilizada Escala Visual Analógica (EVA) e para verificar a prevalência e regiões de dores osteomusculares utilizado (diagrama corporal) do questionário de dor McGill (MPQ). Resultados: A prevalência de dor osteomuscular foi de 86,96% dos colaboradores, a região lombar foi a mais prevalente mencionada 13 vezes (56,52%), e 43,48% dos colaboradores apresentam dor em 2 regiões corporais. Conclusão: Pode se afirmar que os colaboradores sentem dores e que a prevalência é significativa e atingem principalmente a região Lombar.
Abstract: Introduction: Musculoskeletal disorders have been growing in workers in Brazil and in other countries, both developed and developing, and it is considered a worrying health problem. The sitting position is the most adopted in the workplace, however, maintaining this position for a long time leads to inappropriate posture due to overloading the spine for hours, which can cause injuries and pain. It is highlighted that pain is the most present symptom in the practice of professionals working in this position. Objective: To identify the prevalence of musculoskeletal pain in employees of accounting firms in the city of Varginha / MG. Participants and Method: A cross-sectional study was carried out with 23 employees from accounting offices, a questionnaire with objective questions was applied, to verify the intensity of pain was used Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and to verify the prevalence and regions of musculoskeletal pain used body diagram) of the McGill Pain Questionnaire (MPQ). Results: The prevalence of musculoskeletal pain was 86.96%, the lumbar region was the most prevalent 13 times (56.52%), and 43.48% of the patients had pain in 2 body regions. Conclusion: It can be affirmed that the employees feel pain and that the prevalence is significant and reach mainly the Lumbar region.
