ACESSIBILIDADE APLICADA EM CALÇADAS: verificação para deslocamentos em Varginha-MG

Abstract

Accessibility is of great importance to establish the inclusion of the individual in the modern society. In Brazil there are numerous Laws and Norms to be followed to encourage society to include the individual and shorten barriers on this paradigm, thus giving rise to job opportunities, locomotion with ease and among others. This article addresses the displacement on sidewalks in the center of Varginha-MG, reflecting directly in the inclusion of the individual in modern society, with reduced mobility and with visual impairment, thus conducting an accessibility survey on existing sidewalks. Analyzed all urban furniture and identifying errors and corrections to adapt and give the disabled person the right to equality in society.
