| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Este trabalho se propõe a analisar a qualidade dos Centros para Idosos a partir de uma abordagem arquitetônica. Questiona-se o processo de envelhecer tanto quanto a qualidade arquitetônica do abrigo ou do local de curta permanência para idosos. Assim, o objetivo da pesquisa é compreender a relação entre o envelhecimento saudável e a arquitetura e desenvolver o objeto arquitetônico capaz de requalificar não somente o espaço, mas os indivíduos que por ele passarem. O intuito da obra acadêmica está relacionado com a qualidade de vida do idoso através da qualidade de um espaço requalificado e apto, que possa revelar um novo conceito de promoção da saúde. A proposta é empreender um Centro Convivência para Idoso, na cidade de Varginha - MG, para impulsionar atividades voltadas ao público alvo, de uma forma acolhedora, confortável e que proporcionem a inclusão e que possibilitem as trocas de experiências. Pois uma das maneiras de manter o idoso ativo com saúde mental e física é possibilitar a ele o convívio em sociedade. |
| Abstract: | This work aims to analyze the quality of the Centers for the Elderly from an architectural approach. The process of aging is questioned as much as the architectural quality of the shelter or of the place of short stay for the elderly. Thus, the objective of the research is to understand the relationship between healthy aging and architecture and to develop the architectural object capable of requalifying not only the space, but the individuals who pass through it. The purpose of academic work is related to the quality of life of the elderly through the quality of a requalified and apt space, which can reveal a new concept of health promotion. The proposal is to undertake a Well-Living Center for the Elderly, in the city of Varginha - MG, to promote activities aimed at the target audience, in a welcoming, comfortable and that provide inclusion and that allow the exchange of experiences. Because one of the ways to keep the elderly active with mental and physical health is to enable them to live in society. |
