PROPOSTA DE ADEQUAÇÃO DO SISTEMA DE MICRODRENAGEM PARCIAL DA REGIÃO CENTRAL DA CIDADE DE MONTE SIÃO - MG

Abstract

This study evaluates the hydraulic support capacity of the micro-drainage system of Rua do Mercado and Presidente Getúlio Vargas Avenue, in the central region of the municipality of Monte Sião / MG. Hydrological data were collected, the use and occupation of the soils, and the conditions of the existing rainwater network. During the survey of the conditions of the existing microdrainage network there were numerous irregularities, both in the positioning of the devices and in the sizing of the same. However, the most critical factor identified was the lack of coherence between the paving and urban drainage projects, characterized by the inconsequential use of the asphalt coating during the urban revitalization process. Two solutions were proposed to adapt the existing drainage system, and in both it was proposed to perform the milling of the coating layer on the gutters. The first solution aims to improve the drainage of Av. Presidente Getúlio Vargas and maintain the existing system in Rua do Mercado, and the second solution includes improvements in Rua do Mercado and Av. Presidente Getúlio Vargas with the addition of mouths of wolf, extension and Adaptation of the existing gallery. The results obtained in solution 2 show improvements in the drainage system, due to the significant reduction of the flood area that brings more pedestrian comfort and vehicle safety. This solution has an estimated cost of R $ 214,077.00 and it is understood that with this proposal the existing problems will be remedied.
