JOGOS COOPERATIVOS X JOGOS COMPETITIVOS: sua aplicabilidade na escola

Abstract

This monographic work aimed to analyze the benefits and harms that cooperative games and competitive games bring to the education of children in schools. In Physical Education classes it is common for teachers to perform different types of games, but these games need to be applied correctly, in order to really bring benefits to your evolution. The present work does not aim to defend the cooperative games, nor the competitive ones, the main interest is to analyze a way to apply these games, minimizing their damages and maximizing their benefits, so it is understood that both are important in the education of children. Therefore, it is necessary that the Physical Education teacher has theoretical and practical foundation to carry out the application of these games, leaving aside monotony and accommodations, carrying out decent and productive work with the children. Thus, a bibliographical research was carried out to know how the teacher can deal with the positive and negative points of these two types of totally antagonistic games in Physical Education classes.
