VERIFICAÇÃO DA INCIDÊNCIA DE BOLORES E LEVEDURAS EM UM AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR

Abstract

Study on the importance of having microbiological monitoring in hospitals, especially with fungi, pathogenic microorganisms that cause important hospital infections. In May and June, the fungal incidence was verified in a public hospital in Varginha, through sample collections from biotic and abiotic sources, where a contamination rate higher than expected for a hospital environment was observed. But this contamination can be explained by several reasons, such as temperature, humidity, flow of people, cleaning, etc. Therefore, new forms of control must be thought of and put into action so that these rates can be reduced, guaranteeing customers a favorable environment for the recovery of their health.
