MEMORIAL DA IMPRENSA TRESPONTANA

Abstract

This work describes a memorial of the Trespontana press. Such an approach is necessary due to the dispersion of information about the media in different sources. The aim of this study is to describe in memorial form the history of journalism in the city of Três Pontas. This intent will be achieved using literature review and interviews as a source of journalistic information. The study demonstrates in a single document the entire history of printed journalism in the city, in addition to deepening the history of the Correio Trespontano newspaper, the oldest newspaper still in circulation. This memorial allows the reader to know in detail the history of the city's press as well as a little bit about the history of Três Pontas recorded by the media.
