| Resumo: | O câncer de colo uterino é uma doença que tem um ponto forte na relação com a vivência da vida sexual da mulher, resultando de alterações que evoluem lentamente com um crescimento desordenado dos tecidos da região do colo cervical que pode invadir tecidos vizinhos ou distantes, mas se detectada e tratada precocemente pode-se conseguir a cura. O objetivo deste estudo é identificar o Conhecimento das Mulheres frente ao Exame Colpocitológico, buscando verificar a frequência e o conhecimento frente ao exame. Utilizou a metodologia qualitativa de Bardin, onde foram entrevistadas 13 mulheres, verificando a frequência e o conhecimento das mesmas acerca da importância do exame. Verificou-se que a maioria das mulheres possuem conhecimento frente ao exame colpocitológico e a sua finalidade. O Enfermeiro da Unidade é de importância principal para a promoção de saúde das mulheres, assim sendo, acredita-se que somente uma equipe de saúde humanizada e preparada poderá tratar a cliente e convencê-la de que é importante obter o autocuidado com a saúde e se interessar na realização do exame. |
| Abstract: | Cervical cancer is a disease that has a strong relationship with the experience of a woman's sex life, resulting from changes that slowly evolve with disordered growth of tissues in the region of the cervix that can invade neighboring or distant tissues, but if detected and treated early, cure can be achieved. The objective of this study is to identify the Knowledge of Women in relation to the Colpocytological Examination, seeking to verify the frequency and knowledge of the exam. She used the qualitative methodology of Bardin, where 13 women were interviewed, checking their frequency and knowledge about the importance of the exam. It was verified that the majority of women are aware of the colpocitological examination and its purpose. The Unit Nurse is of primary importance for the promotion of women's health, so it is believed that only a humanized and prepared health team can treat the client and convince her that it is important to obtain self-care with health and be interested in the examination. |
