| Resumo: | A pintura dos automóveis é um requisito importante para a maioria dos compradores, mormente ante a variedade de cores que estão no mercado automotivo. Este trabalho analisa o projeto de instalação de uma cabine de pintura com sistemas de exaustão para uma empresa de funilaria com demanda reduzida. Tal abordagem se faz necessária em razão da habitual contaminação da superfície na qual a tinta está sendo aplicada por impurezas do ambiente, o que pode ser amenizado com a instalação da cabine. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar quais as vantagens da cabine em uma oficina, sob o ponto de vista da otimização do serviço, bem como em relação ao custo/benefício. Este propósito será conseguido mediante o comparativo das pinturas realizadas fora e dentro da cabine em escala reduzida, notadamente via avaliação visual da qualidade superficial do acabamento e da viabilidade econômica de instalação do protótipo na empresa de funilaria e pintura RAINBOW, situada em Paraguaçu-MG. Após executados os processos dos corpos de prova, pode-se concluir, de acordo com a comparação das chapas, que o resultado prático da pintura foi satisfatório. Muito embora o investimento seja alto, a instalação da cabine é capaz de trazer ótimos resultados, aumento de produtividade e reduções de custos a longo prazo. |
| Abstract: | Automobile painting is an important requirement to most buyers, mainly due to the variety of colors found in the automotive market. This paper analyzes the project of a paint booth installation with exhaust systems for a small demand hopper company. Such approach is necessary because of the usual contamination of the surface where the paint is being applied by impurities of the environment, which can be mitigated with the installation of the cabin. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the advantages of the booth in a workshop, from the point of view of the optimization of the service, as well as in relation to cost / benefit. This purpose will be achieved by comparing the paintings made outside and inside the cabin in a reduced scale, notably through visual evaluation of the surface finish quality and economic feasibility of the installation of the prototype at the RAINBOW, shop and paint company located in Paraguaçu-MG. After the tests, it can be concluded that, according to the comparison, the practical result was satisfactory. Although the high investment, the installation of the cabin is able to bring great results, increase of the productivity and long-term cost reductions. |
