| Resumo: | O presente trabalho consiste na proposta de implantação de uma Galeria de Arte a ser anexada em um importante edifício localizado no centro da cidade de Varginha-MG, construído no século XIX e tombado pelo município no ano de 1997. O patrimônio histórico, requer especial cuidado e interesse por parte do poder público e da sociedade para que possa manter-se em bom estado de conservação, o que ocorre principalmente através da utilização do edifício pela população, de acordo com importantes teorias elaboradas por renomados especialistas em restauro do patrimônio histórico. Com a disponibilidade de um terreno limítrofe ao terreno deste edifício antigo que hoje encontram-se em atividade o Museu e Biblioteca Pública Municipal, nomeado atualmente de Casa da Cultura, surgiu a idealização em elaborar um projeto arquitetônico de uma Galeria de Arte Popular em diálogo com este edifício, pois sendo assim, além de auxiliar na sobrevivência deste patrimônio, isso favorece a integração da cultura ao desenvolvimento econômico local por meio do apoio às artes plásticas e permite a sobrevivência das tradições culturais locais. Para realizara este projeto, houve uma coleta de dados in loco, bem como um estudo minucioso do entorno onde o objeto de estudo está inserido, que compreende fotos do local e anotações pertinentes utilizadas na elaboração dos mapas de análise do entorno, contidos no corpo deste trabalho. Após a análise e a revisão de literatura que mostra um pouco do panorama cultura, foi possível iniciar a elaboração de um projeto arquitetônico capaz de atender em grande parte às necessidades culturais da população. Tal proposta também se adaptou as particularidades do edifício histórico, assim como aos requisitos estabelecidos para exposição dos objetos artísticos segundo critérios e princípios da museologia para a segurança do acervo e produção de um layout adequado à fruição do espaço e das obras de arte. O resultado desse projeto foi um espaço acessível, com salão de exposições, salas de aula, loja de artesanato e espaço de café e leitura, que pretende atender adequadamente as necessidades do trabalho de artistas plásticos e artesãos. Conclui-se ao fim desta investigação que, projetos de estrutura anexa ao patrimônio histórico podem auxiliar sua preservação ao mesmo tempo que contribui com muitos aspectos positivos para a cidade e para toda sua população. |
| Abstract: | The present work consists in the proposal of implantation of an Art Gallery to be annexed in an important building located in the center of the city of Varginha-MG, built in the nineteenth century and registered by the municipality in the year 1997. The historical patrimony requires special care and interest on the part of the public power and of the society so that it can be kept in good state of conservation, which occurs mainly through the use of the building by the population, according to important theories elaborated by renowned specialists in restoration of historical patrimony. With the availability of a land bordering the site of this old building that is now in operation the Municipal Public Library and Museum, currently named the House of Culture, the idealization arose in elaborating an architectural project of a Gallery of Popular Art in dialogue with this building, therefore, as well as assisting in the survival of this heritage, this favors the integration of culture to local economic development by supporting the visual arts and allows the survival of local cultural traditions. To carry out this project, there was an in loco data collection, as well as a detailed study of the surroundings where the object of study is inserted, which includes photos of the place and pertinent annotations used in the elaboration of the analysis maps of the environment, contained in the body of this job. After analyzing and reviewing literature that shows a bit of the cultural landscape, it was possible to begin the elaboration of an architectural project capable of meeting the cultural needs of the population. This proposal also adapted the particularities of the historical building, as well as the established requirements for exhibition of artistic objects according to criteria and principles of museology for the security of the collection and production of a layout suitable to the enjoyment of space and works of art. The result of this project was an accessible space, with exhibition hall, classrooms, craft shop and coffee and reading space, which aims to adequately meet the needs of the work of plastic artists and artisans. It is concluded at the end of this investigation that, projects of structure attached to the historical patrimony can help its preservation while contributing with many positive aspects for the city and for all its population. |
