PROJETO DE CAPTAÇÃO DE ÁGUA DE CHUVA DO CONDOMÍNIO PAIVA E SILVA NO MUNICÍPIO DE VARGINHA – MG

Abstract

The study presents a case study done in a private condominium in the city of Varginha-MG, where the use of drinking water was analyzed and which points could be replaced by non-potable water. For the analysis, three sample towers were used for data collection. The total volume of water consumed was analyzed, the volume of this amount that can be replaced by rainwater. We also analyzed the monthly averages of the volume of rainwater for surveying the volume of water available in the city. With the data collected it was possible to confirm that the volume of water collected is greater than the volume of non-potable water used, so it was proposed the design of a rainwater harvesting system capable of supplying all the demand for non-potable water to the points intended.
