A INCLUSÃO DO ALUNO COM TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA (TEA) NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL ANOS INICIAIS

Abstract

This work describes and analyzes the dimension of the challenge of including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD in elementary school classes - early years. Such an approach is justified in view of the numerous challenges that the Brazilian education system and society have faced with the inclusion of students with disabilities in regular education. The study aims to carry out a brief review of Brazilian legislation and identify the existence of differentiated pedagogical practices to assist students diagnosed with autism in regular education. Brazilian scientific papers in electronic format - Scielo. The research evidenced a solid foundation of the legislation that deals with the inclusion rights of the student with ASD. With the literature review some themes were highlighted the need to adapt school curricula, an effective continuing education of teachers, the use of innovative practices in classrooms and finally, the optimization of relationships between school and family of students.
