O ATENDIMENTO EDUCACIONAL ESPECIALIZADO: CONSTRUINDO CAMINHOS PARA A EFETIVAÇÃO DE UM PROCESSO

Abstract

This article addresses questions about a service of special education in the perspective of inclusive education: Educational Service Specialist - ESA. The choice of theme was first justified by the mandatory requirement of the ESA's offer by education systems, but also for believing in their important function is to remove barriers to full participation of the target group students of special education in public schools, considering their specific needs. The aim of this study is to address the principles set out in the National Policy for Special Education in Inclusive Education Perspective on the ESA, considering its limits and possibilities. This purpose will be achieved through literature review. This survey showed that the construction of roads to the realization of the ESA is no easy task, it is a process that requires the involvement of all those who are striving for schools to become fully inclusive educational environments.
