PSICOMOTRICIDADE INFANTIL: a arte de brincar e aprender através do lúdico

Abstract

This monograph analyzes children's psychomotricity, in the art of playing, and learning through the ludic. Such an approach is necessary since the ludic helps in the mediation between the relational world and the “make-believe”, and the psychomotricity interacts with the body movement in the time and space of this ludic universe. The ludic has a huge educational value, because it enables the children to learn through body experiences, by which they can experiment sensations, and explore the space and their body movements’ possibilities. The body movement of this "play" takes an important place in every children’s life, having a fundamental function in their development. The objective of this monograph is to research the contributions of the playfulness, through play, that is present in psychomotor activities for the children’s development. This purpose will be achieved by bibliographic research. The considerations argued in this monograph have made it possible to identify how much the child psychomotricity is inserted in the art of playing and learning through the ludic, interacting in their development, and maturation.
