ECOMERCADO DO PRODUTOR AGRÍCOLA DE VARGINHA: um espaço para a agricultura urbana

Abstract

The final graduation work presented here consists of the development of an architectural project for an Agricultural Producer Market located in the Santa Luiza neighborhood of Varginha, Minas Gerais. In its conception process, the link with the cultural identity of the existing environment, as well as the municipality, is sought. This building will contribute in a relevant way to the development and good functioning of the urban activities through the commercial, educational, ecological and cultural practices that will take place in the place. The project has as one of its main objectives the incentive to urban agriculture and the diffusion of the agricultural production of the small producers of the region. In order to effectively fulfill this goal, spaces will be created to facilitate these activities and the exchange of knowledge between rural producers and users of this public equipment.
