ESTATUTO DO IDOSO: suas perspectivas e seu efetivo cumprimento

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of the provisions set forth in the Elderly Statute, with the questioning of research on the main issues addressed in this Statute, the rights and guarantees provided therein as a means of preventing ill treatment of the elderly. It also provides for housing, transportation and work for the elderly. In the same sense, the infractions and sanctions provided for in this Statute studied, and also, demonstrate, so that the Public Prosecutor's Office acts as a monitoring body for compliance with the norms provided for by law (Statute).
